Background The packaging lacked presence on shelf, not reflecting the premium product quality. The background appeared flat and grey with no apparent focus on the chocolate image.
Solution Gilchrist advised our client how to maximise the shelf presence of the product. We re-touched the background to reduce the greyness and introduced a gloss varnish over the product shot to add differential. Additionally, to ensure the improvements were achievable we produced wet proofs on the selected substrate to avoid further disappointment.
